White House spokesperson Kush Desai defended the administration’s stance, stating, “Hundreds of violent, predatory, and gang-affiliated criminal illegal aliens have already been rounded up and deported since President Trump took office. The administration is committed to mass deportations to put Americans first.”
Internal Pressure at ICE
Sources within ICE report that Homan holds daily calls, expressing dissatisfaction with current deportation numbers. He has made it clear to agents that he expects an increase in removals.
